“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller
Life has been moving fast here at Living Room Conversations. As we respond to the wonderful growing interest in this work, we’d love to pause alongside you and compare notes.
Conversations about Race
We’re seeing explosive interest in people longing for meaningful conversations about race. To meet the growing need, we’ve created a new Racial Equity Resources page. There, you’ll find educational tools, tips, relevant conversation guides including some specifically designed for Black men, Black women, and for being white in the anti-racist movement.
Many of you would like more support and training before having an honest conversation about race.
Please consider registering for our upcoming training:
How to Host a Conversation About Race on August 10 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm PDT
Register HERE.
Youth Council
Young people are longing to have meaningful conversations across difference and coming to Living Room Conversations to learn how.
To best support our youth and the adults who want to invest in them, we’ve created a new Youth Council.
The Council creates leadership opportunities, leads teen to teen and intergenerational conversations, and connects the rising generation to the mission of Living Room Conversations.
Do you know someone who might be interested?
Please share this exciting leadership opportunity. We are currently accepting applications through this form.
Volunteer Opportunities
All this explosive growth means there are more opportunities than ever for you to partner with Living Room Conversations and shape this movement.
Check out the many new volunteer opportunities available HERE.
Now, it’s your turn. Please tell us, how does this match up with your experience? What’s inspiring you? What more would you like to see from us?

We’re so grateful to continually be in conversation with each and every one of you.
